Home exercise equipment for your home gym

There are lots of forms of exercise and workouts you can do at home, everything from yoga to strength training. Many workouts you can do with your own body weight, but there are also lots of exercise equipment that are good to have to optimize your home gym.

Resistance bands are the perfect home workout tool – versatile and flexible, and take up no space. It’s easy to just grab one and do a workout in your living room.


You can attach the longer band to a door, kneel down, and then do pull-downs. With the mini band, you get extra resistance for your hip thrusts if you attach the band to your knees and finish the exercise by pressing your knees to the sides.

Kettlebell is a practical weight tool to have in your home gym. With this you can do a variety of strength exercises for both the upper and lower body.

Here are some exercise examples:

The jump rope is an excellent training tool for improving fitness, coordination and strength while being fun and challenging. Vary the jumps, for example by jumping with both legs alternating with single-leg jumps.
