FAQ

Choosing the right size ensures proper support and comfort. A sports bra should fit snugly but comfortably, tighter than a regular bra to provide stability during movement.
The band around the ribcage should be firm and stable, and shoulder straps comfortable without digging in. A good sports bra should keep your bust secure, lie flat against the skin, and allow full freedom of movement.

Measure for your perfect fit

Use a measuring tape and measure as close to the skin as possible without a bra.

  • Underbust: Wrap the tape under your bust and exhale for the smallest measurement.

  • Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your chest.

Our Sports Bra Guide includes a size chart to help you choose the right fit, also available on our product pages for sports bras.

Wash your sports bras at 30°C. Do not use fabric softener or tumble dry, as this can damage the shape and elasticity. Use a laundry bag to protect them during washing.

Björn Borg sports bras are made from a mix of recycled polyester and elastane, or recycled polyamide and elastane, depending on the style.

Polyester and polyamide are lightweight, durable, and quick-drying, efficiently wicking moisture to keep you dry and comfortable. Elastane adds stretch, flexibility, and a perfect fit.

For workouts involving lots of movement or jumping, choose a high-support bra that provides great stability. The Borg High Support Bra is a great example – with padded cups, reinforced straps, and an adjustable elastic band around your torso for a customized fit.

For those with a larger bust, it’s very important to have good support from your sports bra to avoid pain in your back or neck. You need a sports bra that fits firmly against the body and has adjustable shoulder straps so you can customize the fit and distribute the weight evenly. This helps reduce strain on your shoulders and neck.

Depending on the activity and type of workout you’re doing, you may need different types of sports bras. If you’re running or doing high-intensity training with lots of jumping and movement, we recommend a high-support sports bra such as the Borg High Support Bra.

For lower-impact workouts like yoga or strength training, try the Borg Reform Sports Bra, Studio Seamless Bralette, or Borg Mid Support Sports Bra.
