We brought some friends with us for a session of Cardio Tennis in Hyde Park, London.
The tennis session was a chance to take part in a workout involving both tennis and high intensity interval training on a sunny day in London. Cardio Tennis is a high energy workout that combines the best features of the sport of tennis with intense cardio.
The event worked in the format of a circuit with one person at a time being run around on the tennis court by the coach/trainer whilst the others did exercises on the side of the court.
The tennis section involved running from side to side along the baseline hitting forehands and backhands, ensuring that their heart rate was very high after just 1 minute intervals.
We definitely got our sweat on thanks to our coach Miles Bugby!
