The Björn Borg Borg Retro Swim Shorts are classic swimming shorts in 100% recycled polyester REPREVE® Our Ocean™ fibres made from ocean-bound plastic bottles, and treated with a wicking function for a quicker dry. They have a slim fit with a short leg length, and have an elastic and drawcord around the waist for easy adjustment. With mesh inner pants, pockets on each side, and a Velcro back pocket to keep your belongings safe.

Sustainable materials

A large part of the materials in our products are recycled. We use recycled polyester and recycled polyamide. Recycled polyamide is made from plastics from industrial waste as well as plastics from the oceans such as fishing nets and plastic mats.

Recycled polyester is mainly made from PET bottles and industrial waste. In production, less water and less energy are used. It also generates up to 30% less carbon dioxide emissions compared to new polyester.

All our recycled yarns come from vendors that hold a Global Recycle Standard certificate. It is an independent, third-party certification of recycled content addressing traceability, social and environmental practices, and chemical restrictions. Validity of the certification is checked for every new collection.
