A new take on one of our favourite prints: the camouflage, this time inspired by tiger stripes.
This season’s collaboration with DPM Studio offers a tiger-striped pattern that travels across Sports Apparel categories for both men and women.
We had a chat with the founder Hardy Blechman to get behind the scenes of this season's collaboration.
What is the story of DPM Studio?
DPM Studio was founded as a vehicle for the research and creation of "DPM: Disruptive Pattern Material, An Encyclopedia of Camouflage in Nature, Military & Culture", a 944 page book that formed the most comprehensive study of camouflage ever, charting its original documentation by natural historians, its development by artists and subsequent use in the military and civilian worlds.
Published in 2004 in an edition of 5000, the book sold out quickly, snapped up by design universities and studios and has become impossible to find.
Who is this collection for?
DPM’s mission is non exclusionary and its purpose is to spread the peaceful use of camouflage to anyone with a good eye for design and a natural affinity for disruptive patterns.
The wider the use of camouflage in a civilian context, the more successful DPM will be in its stated purpose of furthering the peaceful proliferation of camouflage.
The collection consists of 18 pieces, a mix of performance tights, tops, hoodies, t-shirts and underwear, and is available online and in stores.
