Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger!

 That's what we've been taught. But how come no one ever taught us why?

At Björn Borg, we love to train, not to become the world champions of anything,

but to become the best versions of ourselves.

Because we don't live to train.

We train to live.

We asked our community why they #TrainToLive

" #Traintolive means for me finding the balance in life. Getting my mind off the daily hassles and finding a moment to get back to the base ".

@fiahamelijnck

"Growing up I had a lot of problems with headaches after a disease that lasted for years. Instead of eating pain relief every day, training saved my head. Thinking back on that time makes me feel even stronger when training. Today I have a body without pain and I'm thankful for that every day. I love to feel my lungs and body working hard. I'm alive!".

@fannyamandanilsson

"Being active is so important for our mental and physical health! I like to keep myself active because I want to live my best life and to live a long life".

"I've worked out my whole life and I will never live without it makes me feel stronger, powerful and more relaxed. To feel good in your own body is the best feeling in the world,  I think everyone deserves it.

@liekevdhoorn

"I love my daily walks so much, they give me energy for my body and brain.  Due to the pandemic I haven't kept up with my usual workout routine and at first that was hard but now I've learned. not to put pressure on myself so now I just love my walks even more ".

@josefinlavold

"I love skiing and if I could choose one sport to do more often skiing would be it! I train to live and love the whole package of training when you for example come home after a whole day at the mountain and you switch your ski gear to more leisurewear.

"Working out in different ways is a natural part of my everyday life, and key for my well being. Nothing beats when I feel good about myself, and for me that is more important than ever right now".

@emilsebastiian

"Tough times but it will be better and together we will get stronger. For me train to live is not about competing against others,  it’s about pushing yourself to the very limit and reaching new goals that you never thought were accomplishable".

@jacoblingvannerus

"There are so many possibilities for you to work out at home. I train because it gives me more energy, which is something I need".

"I have always been an active person, and the concept #TrainToLive is the  definition of what training is for me.

It is not about being the best in every exercise I do, but it is about achieving my  personal goals. Those goals help me having a better lifestyle, and gaining a  better self-esteem. It is also worth to mention that if I feel good and fit in the  clothes I am wearing working out, I get a huge self-esteem boost, which is  something @bjornborg offers extremely well, as a Sports Fashion brand. «why do you train»? ".

Older, wiser and stronger!

I train so that I have the strength to dance. I train to support my body and mental health.

That’s something I didn’t do in the past. I had a toxic relationship with going to the gym – only going there to look a certain way.

I guess it’s true, when you get older you do get wiser!
