We love fashion. But we also see that fashion has a downside. The production, supply and use of clothes have a negative impact on the environment. The production of textile fabrics often involves use of pesticides and also use of water, which is an increasingly scarce resource. The process of dying fabrics requires use of chemicals. Transportation of products are often long, and when it reaches the end consumer washing or discarding of garment in turn affects the environment. Concern about climate change and shortage of natural resources is increasingly affecting our industry. Our planet is fantastic and we understand we simply must take better care of it. At Björn Borg we work hard to get necessary insights about our impact and how we can change to improve, by reducing our negative impact.
